Korean Sticky Tofu Lettuce Wraps

A delicious, plant-based meal featuring our new Korean Veg & Grains. Packed with big flavour and ready in less than 15 mins.

Ingredients

  • 1 block of tofu 
  • 1 tsp miso paste 
  • 1 tsp honey 
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce  
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 6 baby gem lettuce wraps 
  • 6 tsp kimchi 
  • 6 tsp pickled red onion 
  • 1 pouch of frozen Korean-Style Veg & Mixed grains

Instructions

  1. Start by washing your baby gem lettuce until all of the dirt is removed.
  2. Stir together the honey, miso paste, sesame oil and soy sauce to form a sauce.
  3. Cut the tofu into cubes and coat thoroughly in the sauce.
  4. Fry the tofu on a medium heat until caramelised and crispy on all sides.
  5. Add the Korean-Style Veg & Mixed Grains to a frying pan with a little water and fry for 5-7 minutes until heated through.
  6. Add the grains to the lettuce wraps, followed by the miso tofu, kimchi and pickled red onion. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if you'd like and enjoy!
