We've swapped chickpeas for lentils to create this smooth and creamy hummus. Packed with plant protein, Puy Lentils boast a naturally sweet, nutty flavour - perfect for a delicious and nutritious snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 tin of butter beans (plus ¼  of the liquid)
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 pouch of Puy Lentils
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Taste, then add more lemon and seasoning to taste.
  2. If your hummus is too thick, add a little more oil and butter bean liquid until you get the desired consistency.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika, then serve with roasted seasonal veg and fluffy pitta!
