DULCE DE LECHE
General

  • On toast.

  • In milkshakes, cocktails and hot drinks e.g. coffee.

  • Use as a cake filling, on sundaes or in millionaires shortbread.

  • Ripple through mousse, greek or natural yoghurt.

  • Use as an ingredient to homemade ice cream, or heat in the microwave and use as a sauce for ice cream.

  • Add to fudge recipes.

  • Use when making chocolate truffles.

  • A delicious pancake topping.

  • Loosen with cream or make more solid with icing sugar.

  • Use a heated spoon to serve more easily.

  • Heat Dulce de Leche in the microwave to make the perfect sauce for sticky toffee pudding.

  • Stir Dulce de Leche into whipped cream to melt gently over baked fruit or drizzle generously over cheesecake and top with chocolate curls.

  • Use Dulce de Leche as a luxurious filling for coffee and walnut cake or stir into your favourite brownie recipe for a delicious gooey treat.

  • Use Dulce de Leche with popcorn to make your own toffee popcorn.

  • Stir any flavour Dulce de Leche into your favourite ice cream and leave to set.

  • Serve squeezee Dulce de Leche with pancakes, waffles and sweet wraps.

  • Mix squeezee Dulce de Leche with crème fraiche and stir into a fresh fruit salad. Grill until caramelised.

  • Spread a generous amount of Dulce de Leche between two of your favourite biscuits or freshly baked cookies. Smear more around the outside of the biscuits and roll in desiccated coconut, grated chocolate or chopped nuts.

  • Mix Dulce de Leche with double cream or cream cheese and use to fill and top a Victoria sponge cake.

  • Bake bananas in a hot oven until soft. Slice the skin and pour Dulce de Leche on to the hot banana flesh. Scatter with toasted flaked almonds or chopped hazelnuts and serve with vanilla ice cream.
