A wonderfully deep youthful red, shot through with purple tints. The nose is already very open, with lots of ripe blackberry aromas, overlaid with hints of spice and toast.

The palate is round, soft and silky - beautifully balanced - while the finish is long, fresh and full of buttery, toasted oak flavours. A great example of winemaking that has got the very best from a wonderful harvest.

This wine would go well with red or white meat, grilled or in a sauce.
