National Burger Day
Whether you’re vegan, veggie, GF or a meat-eating machine, there’s a burger out there for you.
What’s it all about?
National Burger Day first took place in the UK in 2016 – it quickly took off (hardly a surprise!) with Mr Hyde teaming up with food market giants Street Feast to put on the dining celebration of the year. The event has gone from strength for strength, and we are all for this delicious day. It’s only a matter of time until it’s made an official bank holiday, surely?
Where to go?
On Thursday 23rd August, venues nationwide will be offering a discount on everyone’s favourite dish on the menu. Head to Honest Burger, Meat Liquor, Bleeker and more. Fill in the form on your phone to receive a voucher for various discounts depending on your chosen restaurant.

What to cook?
Fancy staying in? Whip up one of these homemade creations to really impress the nation.
Rustle up these mini patties and host your very own National Burger Day celebration. They may be small but the flavour is BIG!
If you want to keep it lean without missing out on all the fun, these guys are a much healthier alternative to your usual big mac. The Simply Cooked Freekeh gives an alternative dimension to the mixture, while keeping you fuller for longer.
Alright, alright. It’s not technically a burger, but it might as well be! Add the toppings of your choice but whatever you do, don’t leave out the garlic yoghurt. Sandwich between a toasted pitta and you’ll forget all about what to call it.
Goodness-filled and guilt-free, our tasty breakfast patty is a blend of lightly spiced Beluga Lentils and beetroot, topped with a fried egg and served in sesame seed topped mushroom bun.
