Top 5 Veggie Restaurant Picks

Vegetarian establishments are beginning to pop up all over the country. The problem is, it’s hard to spot the good from the not so good. We’ve got our Top 5 of the moment that are all fantastic, all for different reasons.

Food for Friends, Brighton

This recently refurbished, award-winning restaurant can be found tucked away in the gorgeous South lanes of Brighton.  It may look a little fancy but the prices are more than reasonable, and the quality of produce is top notch.

The Warehouse Cafe, Birmingham

Nestled on the first-floor of a converted warehouse, this quirky café has often been described as a ‘hidden gem’.  Although small, the menu has rave reviews all round, with halloumi ‘fish’ & chips, the warehouse burger and a chocolate brownie! Not only is the food great, the service is too.

Paradise Palms, Edinburgh

If comfort food is what you’re after, Paradise Palms is the place to find it. Not only is this place a ‘Soul Food’ haven, it’s a diner, event space and record store too. The menu is completely meat-free and often vegan, boasting dishes such as nachos, mac’n’cheese and a three-bean chilli.

Famacy, London

This trendy spot in Kensington offers plant-based dishes inspired from across the globe. It’s a little pricier than most, but worth it in nourishment as the name suggests. The menu is huge, with breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner options to meet the needs of all present.  The drinks are almost as impressive as the food!

Wild Thyme, Norwich

This place has just the laidback vibe you’d expect for a cosy afternoon spent in Norwich. The selection of food is fantastic, covering vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. The dreamy homemade puddings are an absolute must, or if you’re too full take one to go!
