This chestnut hummus is laced with Ras el Hanout to give it a subtle spice. The ultimate dip for your mezze feast, we love it served with a good lashing of chilli oil.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees celcius. 
  2. To make the hummus, drain chickpeas well and put all the ingredients into a blender. 
  3. Blend the ingredients whilst adding the oil slowly so it incorporates all elements. 
  4. For the crispy topping, start by breaking the chestnuts gently by hand. 
  5. Drain the chickpeas and mix with the crumbled chestnuts, ras el hanout and salt. 
  6. Roast on a lined tray for 10-12 minutes until crispy. Stir the mixture half way through.
  7. Serve your hummus in a wide dish with the crispy topping scattered on top. We love it with a lashing of chilli oil too!
